MyCertainKey is built with **extreme privacy** as a core principle. We believe your data belongs to you and should never leave your device.

## Data Collection: None

**We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data.**

### What We Don't Do:

- ❌ No analytics or tracking
- ❌ No third-party services
- ❌ No cloud storage or sync
- ❌ No user accounts
- ❌ No personal information gathering
- ❌ No data sharing with anyone

## Local Device Storage Only

All data created in MyCertainKey is stored **exclusively on your device** using iOS's standard local storage:

- **Tag Information**: Your custom tags, checklists, and labels are stored locally on your iPhone
- **Activity History**: Scan history and completion records remain on your device only
- **App Groups**: Data is shared between the main app and widget using iOS App Groups (same device only - never leaves your phone)
- **Storage Method**: Standard iOS UserDefaults (encrypted by iOS automatically)

This data:
- ✅ Never leaves your device
- ✅ Never syncs to the cloud
- ✅ Never accessed by us
- ✅ Never shared with third parties
- ✅ Automatically deleted when you uninstall the app

## NFC Tag Data

- **No Tag Content**: We never read, store, or transmit the content of your NFC tags
- **Your Responsibility**: You are responsible for the physical security of your NFC tags

## Subscription Information

If you choose to subscribe to Premium:
- **Apple Handles Everything**: Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through App Store
- **No Payment Data**: We never see or store your payment information
- **Apple's Privacy Policy**: Subscription data is subject to [Apple's Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/privacy/)
- **Subscription Status**: We only check subscription status locally to enable premium features (processed by iOS)

## Widget Data

The home screen widget displays your recent scan activities:
- **Same Device Only**: Widget accesses the same local data as the main app
- **No External Access**: Widget data never leaves your device
- **App Groups**: Uses iOS App Groups to share data between app and widget (iOS system feature, device-local only)

## Children's Privacy

MyCertainKey does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we don't collect data, there is no children's data to collect.

## Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Since we don't collect data, changes would only be to clarify our privacy practices.

## Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:
- **View Data**: All your data is visible in the app
- **Delete Data**: Delete tags and activities anytime from within the app
- **Complete Removal**: Uninstalling the app removes all local data automatically

## Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- **iOS Encryption**: Your data is protected by iOS's built-in device encryption
- **Device Security**: Security depends on your iPhone's passcode/biometric security
- **No Server Breaches**: There are no servers to breach - your data never leaves your device
